Life’s too short to even care at all [uh uh oh]

Well, hello there.
This is my FIRST WordPress blog, and I’m already too excited about this. I have so much to write about, but I’ll keep this first one simple. To the point. Relaxed.

I’m not going to write about myself (check out the About Me page), so I’m going to use this blog as a laundry list of what I want to write about in the future. No specifics, but generally the direction I want to head in. For instance, this blog will be filled with photos (lomo!), videos, rants, love & thoughts — random thoughts I hope you can keep up with, too. Maybe I’ll get a little personal with ya, too. Who knows.

But for now, I want to introduce this song I’m infatuated with: Cough Syrup by Young the Giant.

Now, I didn’t go to the show yesterday night at the Rhythm Room in Phoenix, but I was told about this particular band & how much energy they had on stage. I immediately wanted to check them out, and I’m so glad I did. I may be a little late getting into this band, but better late than never, right?

Check it out:

“If I could find a way to see this straight
I’d run away
To some fortune that I should have found by now”

-Young the Giant

Lomography (with my Diana Mini) has quickly become a hobby of mine.

I fell in love with that tiny, lightweight cam the moment I snapped that first photo. And in a world where we only know one type of gratification – INSTANT – I don’t mind waiting for the photos to develop.

This photo above was taking at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. from my first roll of film. Sometimes, I just can’t take my eyes off of it…and those lyrics seem to fit the photo well.
